MK 1 works perfectly if you 'jam' the blade into position... I managed to do this with a thin elastic band... I cut the band then placed it over the slot... grabbing the scalpel blade with a long thin nosed pliers, I then pushed the elastic band into the slot along with the blade... trimming off the excess before pushing the blade in the last few millimeters.

This is MK 1 - Will update as and when it needs improvements

This design will need a #11 scalpel blade
