These nifty LED enclosures are from my creative Computer Programming & Robotics student, Abby Ireland. Her design reminds me of the domes atop St. Basil's Cathedral.
They are different sizes ranging from about 1cm to about 4cm in height. However, they are all designed to fit snugly over a 5mm LED, also known as a T1-3/4.
These were printed on a MakerBot Replicator 2 at low resolution (0.3mm/layer) with one shell and somewhere in the neighborhood of 5% infill. Despite their low density, t
