I needed a better way to mount a Garmin Edge GPS on my recumbents, and decided to use one of the water bottle mounting locations on the G2; I drilled / tapped holes on the Linear.
The G2 version has a curved base to fit the main tube, the Linear one is flat, since that frame is a rectangular tube.
