Created these for a birthday gift for someone who likes Japanese decorations... the characters in the corners are "winter", "spring", "summer", "autumn". They fit wallet sized pictures (3.5 inch x 2.5 inch). We chose to use 2 small bits of painters tape to hold the back plate on the back. Not sure how useful the hanging holes on the back are, but if you can't read Japanese, they'll help you know whats up from down :-)
