For longer bike rides, I usually have my [warbiking equipment](http://www.dahlgrimm.de/Arduino/RasPi_GPS_tracker/RasPi_GPS_tracker-Seite6.html) installed on the bike.

The Kismet server runs on a RasPi3. A smartphone is used for navigation and as a GUI for the RasPi3. Smartphone and RasPi3 communicate via USB tethering - as a side effect, the smartphone is **constantly** charged.
