XTR M960 Chain Guide

I wanted to run a 3x shimano XTR crank set as a 1x. By removing the big ring (146 BCD), there was a large gap the chain can fall into.

This Thing bolts into the 4 spider holes and prevents the chain from falling off the outside of the middle chaining. So far so good.

The large ring tends to get grease on your pants and I've seen more than one nasty calf laceration on them after a fall. As such... I tend to run a bash guard instead of the outer large ring whenever possible.
