Butter Hopper

This is a butter hopper designed to help spread butter on wide surfaces. It is designed for home use to hold a stick of butter horizontally. There is a lid to help push softened butter through the gap at the base.

No idea how you would make this to be food safe (materials, printer, etc.), but you could probably print in PLA and then coat with something food safe to fill any layer gaps.
