I'm not a gun enthusiast, but as a prop maker I end up making a lot of guns. One thing I recently needed was some picatinny or NATO rails to go on a big honkin' sci-fi gun. Rather than buying them, I looked up the specs and made my own.
This is a selection of pieces you can use to construct a rail of whatever size and layout you like. An example 8-section rail is included. The screw holes are sized for M5 screws.
I've printed the example rail without supports and it came out great.
