**I found a weak point in my initial design. Corrected version has been in use for over a week and shows no signs of failure**
A common failure with the ice maker used in Frigidaire french door refrigerators is the integral motor shaft the rotates the ice tray. The motor has a hollow rectangular plastic shaft that mates to a rectangular recess in the ice tray. This shaft is brittle and will shear off the front of the motor. Rather than spend 100+ on a new ice tray, I came up with a solution
