Thermolyne Cimarec Stirrer Hotplate Replacement Knob

The stirrer knob on a old stirrer hotplate in my lab broke requiring me to fiddle with it a lot to turn the stirrer on and off. My replacement part is primitive, but functional, I just wish I had grey filament at the time I made it so it wouldn't stand out so much.
