CR-10S Z-axis problems

I just got a Creality CR-10S 3d printer, and it worked well out of the box, until a few prints in, I noticed some issues with how the Z-axis was working. The left Z motor would randomly get jammed, and would just sit there and vibrate, while the right Z motor would keep moving. This caused the whole x-axis to become unlevel. I took the whole Z-axis apart, and inspected every part. Everything looked fine until I noticed that both the spring couplings that go between the motors and the lead screws
