Ever thought there is missing some light under your effector?
Have some standard 12V LED-Strips laying around?
Why not connect them to some unused output of your Board?
Had the same thoughts and just made these!
Connected them to some 12V always-on vent of my Duet and !tadaa! nice and even light under my effector.
Even this is one of my first designs, it turned out quite well! :-)
