I wanted to extend the amount of water my VÄXER hydroponic system can hold and therefore be without supervision. When my salads were almost grown I had to refill the water almost every day. This holds a normal PET or soda bottle and almost doubles the amount of water the VÄXER system can hold. I used an opaque 1,5l energy drink bottle to keep algae growth in check.

The system normally won't overflow as long as the bottle doesnt have a "leak" or has too thin walls (vakuumi inside can cave in
