There is 2 places for rotary encoder and 2 indicator leds. You can use switches instead of rotary encoder just break the extensions from thumb cluster.
use 15 pieces metric 3mm screws to connect. Make sure that the length of the screws is no more than 8 mm.
if the encoder holder does not fit, reverse and fit.
