For the most strenth of a print especially for a thread, it MUST NOT be printed vertically...stacking layers like pancakes makes for weak joints. Laying flat and having the layers parallel to force (the same direction) increases the strength incredibly.

I recommend at a minimum of 3 shells, print slowly to preserve the shape, it should screw in exactly like the original but be MUCH stronger

Print the handle vertically, twisting force is concentrated in the thread, not the handle.
Glue the tab of screw into handle
There is a .25mm tolerance built in...so it should slip fit...sand if needed
