3 KingsTIC is a 3 piece 5x5x5 Turning Interlocking Cube puzzle. I had high hopes for it... I thought it would be a level 24 move puzzle, i.e. take 24 moves to remove the first piece. However, there are some coordinated rotations possible which drop the level to around 12-13 steps. It is still interesting, so I thought I would publish it here.

This puzzle is intended to be solved as an assembly. First assemble the pieces individually. Then assemble the puzzle. Rotations are required to solve the puzzle.

The offset refers to the distance the pieces are trimmed back in order to slide smoothly next to eachother. The joint inset refers to the amount the joint is trimmed back. The joint should be permanent and require a little force to push together. I generally use a small 4 inch clamp.

The STL files were generated using PuzzleCAD: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3198014
PuzzleCAD file is included in case you want to vary the offsets of puzzle size yourself.
