Hello everyone,
this is just a simple 3-position turning switch. It is quite small and comes in two versions: flange in front for panel installation or front in the back for.. well, installation on something behind a panel.
The center pin rotates when turning the switch (at least in this version), so please don´t solder it directly on a board.
Please do not expect this thing to replace all yout industrial switches. It is just a cheap way to quickly build up some test circuits and prototypes.
I didn´t test them above 5V and 20mA.
The contacts are made out of paperclips. You need 2-3 clips for one switch. The diameter of the wire should be about 0.8-1.0mm.
Please read through the assembly instructions first.
Assembly (please take a look at the pictures):
1. Use one straight piece of wire or a drill to poke through the holes after printing.
2. Cut three pieces of paperclip wire, about 15mm long. Bend one of the pieces about 5mm from the tip a shown in the picture.
