I didn't like the weight of the spool on top of my printer any more So I designed an adaptor to use the original spool holder that came with my MK3, which adapts it to mount on the side of the printer.

An easy print part, I printed mine at 0.2 and 20% infill in PETG and its nice and strong.

The part pushes on to the original MK3 spool holder and then it is able to clip on to the side frame of the printer base as shown in the pictures. It just uses one side of the spool holder.
