Geoffs Wood screw Nut

Needed to hold a shelf on really securely but I didn't have any long metal thread screws - but I did have hundreds of long woodscrews - so my woodscrew nut was born :-)

Just drill a clearance hole thru the shelf, and use a shifter, multigrips or whatever to tighten the nut.

I found these nuts to be necessary, as nearly any length screw (within 25mm) can be used.
