This is an alignment tool that I used to replace a busted transmission oil pump in a F4A51 transmission from a Mitsubishi Galant. The oil pump for this transmission has nothing to index it to the housing and therefore there is no way to reinstall the pump without an alignment tool, which holds it in place while you tighten the bolts. There is a company that sells the tool for $80+ dollars, but this was the only time I'd need this tool so I broke out my calipers and got to measuring. I had this m
