Ball Head for camera tripod

V1 was promising, but was just an attempt. V2 takes the same ideas, but makes it a single piece, rather than a bolt together pair. I re-did it in OpenSCAD to make it parametric as well.

I am trying to create a ball head mount for a camera. The ball will be a 'hardwood doll head' I picked up at Micheals (42mm or 1 5/8"). This first run has at least one flaw: I didn't build anything into the base to attach it to the tripod because the split is on the centerline.
