Mobile phone (Nexus 5x) cradle for CD-mounted magnetic mount

As mobile phones get ever larger, I've found that the magnetic mounts which used to work so well on earlier phones no longer have enough grip, sending my phone flying off its mount upon any bump in the road. Thiis cradle was designed with that in mind, albeit for my very specific situation - a Nexus 5X in its case and held to a CD-mounted magnetic mount.

Of course this may work on other phones and/or automotive mounts, but no guarantees...
