Old movie tripod "Majestic" quick release plate

I picked up a heavy duty movie camera tripod at Princess Auto a few years ago. It's didn't come with a quick release plate, even though the mount takes one.

The tripod was marked 'majestic' and manufactured by Modern Builders Co. of Chicago, Illinois. The base is approximatley 100mmx75mm.
