12mm magnet lanyard

another simple magnet lanyard, this one uses 12mm neodymium disc magnets commonly available at hardware stores like lowes and home depot.
these magnets pack a punch, i use them to secure needle nose pliers to my fishing vest for quick retrieval. my 8mm version would be better suited for light duty, use the 12mm when you really need the extra holding power.
youll need to sand the magnet with 80-100 grit sandpaper and use a strong adhesive to glue it into the print, i used cyanoacrylate (super glue), ive also used epoxy. for this model i would also recommend you print in abs, petg, or nylon if you intend to use it seriously outdoors.
