can opener assistant

I bought one of these side cutter "safety" can openers. Cutting through the can's rim requires more force than a regular can opener.
I'm not weak, but I like things to be easy, and sometimes operating this opener is a strain. So extending the handle for more leverage seemed like a possible solution.

The print has some spring to it, and fits securely over the slightly tapered handle, while being easy to remove. It probably won't fit anything else without modifications..
