The stock carriage was a bad design: it's heavy (defeating the purpose of a bowden extruder) and the heatsink is located too high, causing jams because of a long cooling transition. I had several jams on mine.
This conversion kit improves on those issues. It might fix stringing as well. All you need is a V6. You can reuse the m3 screws from stock to clamp the heatsink and hold in the belt. You just need to undo the screw-glued screws from the x-carriage somehow (disclaimer: do this at own ri
