Hello all,
This is supposed to be a turbine that is immersed in a stream of flowing water, with a dynamo connected to the main propeller. Connecting a 12V to 5V USB power regulator is ideal, and can be done with a simple car charger.
In my tests I was unable to produce over 0.5v in a creek, and over 1.5v in front of a fairly high speed fan. I believe that the DC motor I used was not achieving a high enough shaft speed (RPM) to generate the required voltage. I have future plans to utili
