I designed this to hold the ImmersionRC 600mW transmitter to the side of the Phantom 2 so to maintain easy access to the battery compartment.
The transmitter case is removable for servicing (and is locked in with a screw) and additional cases could be made for other things.
The transmitter is held in place by slots in the case and is secured using the antenna connector (my antenna has an adapter)
