After having the stock connector (dumpster fire risk) cook itself I designed a strain relief that would work with my buildtak flexplate and directly soldered connections. Other designs use the soldered connector itself as an anchor point to prevent up and down motion however the corner notches of the flexplate system allow us to clip above the original buildplate.
