This is a project to make small colored magnetic blocks to make different things out of. Imagine a real-life minecraft. This particular model is a 5mm cube with a cavity in the center for a 3mm magnet purchased from amazon. My first test was with a 6mm shell surrounding the magnet. Magnetic strength drops exponentially and so the smaller the gap between magnets, the better the strength.
