Crank Brothers eggbeater grease gun adapter

This is a screw in grease fitting to lube crankbrothers eggbeater pedals. remove the end cap, screw the fitting in, then use the grease gun of your choice to force fresh grease in and push the old stuff out. The first time you will need to take the seals out of the outboard bearing.

I saw a metal version for sale years back and was always interested in the idea but not enough to pay$$ for one. I drew this up and tested it and it works like they say but with some trouble.
First, the
