My wife broke the hook on the stick used to open the door to the attic stairs - I made a replacement. Hey, nobody said it was a good story...
It's designed to print in two pieces so that the hook part has greater strength. The hole in the cylinder is for an M3 screw/bolt or similar to affix it to the end of the broomstick, and the hole at the end is for a ~30mm X 4mm countersunk wood screw of the type I have handy in my toolbox - hopefully there's something similar in yours?
