Screw jacks for supporting the bed of K40 laser cutters.
Materials:
5/16-18 threaded rod (12")
Brass 5/16-18 nuts from Home Depot
3mm socket head cap screws ~20mm
1.5" round metal disk to prevent the laser from damaging the 3d printed components.
To build, cut 5/16-18 threaded rod to the length of the top and bottom parts at minimum height. Then dremel a slot into one end for a flat head screw driver.
Install the brass nuts into the base component, this should be press fit and ma
