Intake Guard

My 15 gallon Betta tank I just spent two weeks building a new pump for cracked bad last night
thankfully I have spare tanks.. but instead of attempting to build a new filter I went and bought a hang on back filter.. not my favorite. but it doesn't have enough pull to add a sponge over the intake..
but because I am planning on putting my cull Neocardiana in the tank.. I don't want the poor wee things to get sucked and blended I quickly put this together.
