works best with metal spring but spring maker is included, stick 20 cm of pla in the hole of spring maker with the nut already on the base, feed trough them both, dip pla in boiling water right up to the nut then turn the nut to thread the spring onto the shaft of the spring maker. shock in cold water to finish spring.
