Freewing Stinger 64 Battery Retainer

A very simple battery retainer plate for the Stinger 64. I made it 64mm wide as I’d already cut a bit out of the battery bay sides to enable my Nanotech batteries to fit which made my bay about 37mm wide.

Once the battery was held in by Velcro I cut a slit with a knife blade about 3mm deep just above it on each side of the battery bay, the plate then twists into position giving a bit of extra security in inverted and negative G manoeuvres!
