Nice Work Animalkracker, I made some adjustments to your design to suit my needs. Who knows it might help others out.

I found that the spring pressure on the backplate was slowly breaking my ABS part. So I altered it so that I used a big washer for the spring to apply its force to and then designed a plate to sit on the inside. I added the extra 3mm so to remove all of the spring slack.
