UPDATE: For best results, use two springs per adjustment screw.
If anything has frustrated me about 3D printing most, it's print bed levelling. I'm not made of money, and a manual bed was all I could afford (fixed income retiree, OK), and the springs supplied are just shite. Then I noticed a pair of skewer springs next to my printer from a bicycle project...
They're same height as typical printer springs, they compress totally inside themselves and they have around the right tension. Junkb
