If you collect DC action figures you must be aware Dc Direct Joints are Fragile in 80% of the cases, however changing to mattel is not the only option, every damaged figure has a way to be repaired, in this case the Lex Luthor DC Direct Crisis on Infinite Earths action figure hip joint is fragile so i was able to replace it with a printed one, hope it helps you

its 1/2 joint so remember to print 2 pieces and glue them
