Finally got around to thickening up the base by accidentally creating a dodecagon instead of a broad hex shape in Tinkercad and it all grew from there.
I pulled that file, the original cluster hex file and a resized version of Valandar's 25mm BaseRocky from Simple Bases and mashed them all together in 3d Builder (Win 10 app).
The intended effect is for the dodecagon to represent a sort of crystal "boil" pushing through the rock with daandruf's crystal being what actu
