These are supports for a ¾ inch sch40 pvc pipe which has a 1 inch outside diameter. One support is open and the other is closed to allow the spools to be easily changed. I used ¼ inch by 1 inch long bolts for attaching to the container. The container is a Ziploc Weather Shield 15 gallons which allows for plenty of room. I started with a small drill bit and then used a stepped drill bit when drilling through container so it would not crack.
