Threaded Insert Jig - 1/4-20 Brass E-Z Lok

Simple jig to help install 1/4-20 brass inserts - keeps the insert perpendicular to the surface while you screw it in.

These threaded inserts are great but they are difficult to install properly (even with the E-Z Lok install tool).

After drilling the hole, place the jig on the surface and align the the jig hole with the insert hole. Put the brass insert in the jig and slowly start screwing in the insert. After the insert threads have taken into the wood, you can remove the jig and finish
