I really like HP Microservers but do not want to waste internal disk ports for the operating system disks, which for me is always an SSD Raid-1 on two USB 3 ports. There are a few reasons for that:
* The controller in these low-cost servers often do not support hot-plug, which would cause down-time when replacing a broken mirror disk
* Even tho SSDs live quite long already, using them this way makes switching out a faulty one easier as no chassis has to be opened.
