This sculpture was presented at The Exhibition of 1910, created by the sculptor Jean Hérain (1853-1924). The work was then exhibited by Albert Leemans. It was then bought by the municipality of Brussels in 1912 and was publically exhibited at Meeûs Square in 1986.
