Nike Smoke 1 : 12.4 Scale v2 Model Rocket

The Nike Smoke was a sounding rocket to study the behavior of the horizontal winds in the upper atmosphere. It was developed by NASA in the 1960s based on the Nike booster.

This is a scale 1/12.4 replica that when completed stands 468.5mm (18.44") tall and uses an Estes BT-55 body tube.

This is version version 2 and differs from version 1 in that it is designed so that no painting is required.
