Inspired by other users, I decided to make my own clock. I started with the "heart" of the clock- the escapement.
A goal was to make the escapement as efficient as possible. With one tick every second, it needs ~10.5 kg lovered by 1 meter worth of energy to run 24h, which from what I have seen is quite competitive amongst 3d printed clocks, that don't use a pendulum.
However, even tho it runs nicely, it is too loud to be used as a wall clock in a room, that I was planning to sleep in. To
