This is a key to override the safety gate on UK style (Type G) sockets.

Usually a safety gate requires a plug to have a ground pin to open the safety gate. This prevents users from plugging in a European style plug (Type C) into the socket.

This key is inserted into the ground pin socket to open the gate.

Run a rubber band through the eyelet of this key to tie it to your European style power cables.
