this xy slide vise was working great for metal but
i have found a slide for this drill press and this vise fits perfectly on top
i have ordered a vise that i believe will work on both this xy slide and the xy slide i purchased so i believe this xy sliding vise is interchangable with store bought vises
the slide threads are 2mm pitch so 1 full handle turn=2mm
the reason such large pitch is 3d printers do not print nuts and threads smaller with out easly striping threads with and kind of
