Christmas Stocking Holder/Hook

We have a half-wall in our living room that we use to display our Christmas Stockings. Over the years we have not had much luck with those weighted stocking holders so I decided to design something that will be strong and lightweight and not take up too much room. What I came up with is a cantilevered design that spans across the top of our half wall and hooks on the back side. This hook arrangement is very strong.
