It may often be necessary to cut the foil of the wings, strains so that the slip pad underneath is the least likely to be sutured. This is where the cutting edge limit is right, which should be applied to the 8mm shank blade and to prevent excessive cutting depth.
The cutting depth can be adjusted with the amount of knife push.
